Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Ability to perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs on multiple toolsets.
2. Maintain the optimum performance of equipment through scheduled PMs and calibration of equipment
3. Able to troubleshoot and repair equipment that is down.
4. Ability to work with cross- functional groups such as engineering and operations to resolve maintenance issues.
5. Support continuous improvement activities for productivity and yield enhancement.
6. Ability to write to document events/procedures as required
7. Wear personal protective equipment as required (safety glasses, smock, ear plugs and gloves).

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• Able to work and take directions from written and verbal instruction
• Good communication skills; speaking, reading, writing English
• Good math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, decimals
• Able to work independently and as a team player
• Able to work 12 hour shift, with the flexibility to work overtime and/or different shifts as business needs dictate.

Physical Job Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop/squat, sit and crouch
• Majority of shift will be standing
• Requires safely working with chemicals and heavy machinery
• Good hand and eye dexterity

Required Education:

• AA/AS degree in electrical/mechanical desired
