We are seeking an experienced environmental professional to manage all environmental aspects of our enzyme production facility in Blair, NE.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with government permits/regulations and all internal Novozymes policies and programs.
• You will manage and provide regulatory compliance support.
• Manage and participate in internal auditing for environmental regulatory compliance
• Develop, maintain and manage on-going activities for the Environmental Quality Systems (EQS) to achieve ISO 14001 certification and compliance.
• You will also be responsible for evaluating potential environmental and regulatory impact of new and/or updated processes.

Challenges:

• Opportunity to develop and establish ISO 14001 environmental program and essential systems at new NZ manufacturing site.
• Cultivate environmental awareness, knowledge and socially responsible culture through development of effective systems, employee training and daily interactions with all personnel at NZNE.

Qualifications

• BS in Scientific or Engineering discipline
• Bio-processing or chemical processing industrial experience with air permitting preferred
• Working experience with Environmental, Regulatory and ISO programs
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple activities and priorities
