Description
The Carbon Accounting Company designs and builds industry specific environmental sustainability and greenhouse gas measurement programs. 2 of our leading programs are Green Ride Global for the Transportation Industry and Green Hotels Global for the Hospitality Industry.
Position Overview:
Under direct supervision of the Environmental Director, assists with carbon accounting, client relations, business development and administrative matters as needed.
Responsibilities:
May include any and/or all of the following job duties:
- Assists in managing data collection/tracking system and environmental reporting.
- Provides tailored account management to various clients; assists in the development of marketing materials; conducts environmental research; provides other client support as needed.
- Provides technical support; creates and maintains databases; develops/maintains spreadsheets.
- Coordinates special projects as requested; performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong client service skills
- Experience with Account Management
- Some knowledge of environmental issues and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Quantification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A motivated team player
- Planning and organizational skills
- Experience in research/analysis
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education and experience equivalent to University or college degree with specialization in environmental, business or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in office operations.
