Environmental Management Systems Professional

Position Overview 

Fast-paced environmental consulting firm is looking for a bright,
motivated and detail-oriented professional with experience in environmental
management systems (EMS) to work onsite at a federal agency in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities 

• You
  will be helping to develop tools, products, and tracking mechanisms designed to
  improve agency environmental performance;
• Preparing and revising Environmental
  Management Plans; Providing agendas, presentations, and summaries;
• Updating an
  EMS website;
• Supporting LEED certification; and
• Supporting electronic
  stewardship, waste diversion, and chemical management at a leading
  environmental agency. 

Qualifications  

• Ideal candidates will have, at a minimum, a B.S. degree in
  a related field;
• Two to five years of experience;
• A good working knowledge of  Executive Order 13693, ISO 14001, and LEED;
• The
  ability to work well as part of a team; and
• Excellent communication, writing, organizational,
  and analytical skills.
