Founded in 1994, Environmental Risk Communications, Inc. (ERCI) is an industry-leading consultancy in the management and accounting for environmental liabilities as well as a developer of targeted desktop and web-based software solutions for the environmental industry.

The firm specializes in the development of decision strategies for environmental remediation and restoration projects. Our goal is to help clients develop financially sound solutions and optimal management alternatives for both individual sites and portfolios with environmental liabilities. ERCI utilizes proprietary and client-customized Sarbanes-Oxley compliant software tools to provide environmental project managers with probabilistic cost estimating, reserve forecasting, decision analysis, project controls and related capabilities.

Position Overview: 

Environmental Risk Communications, Inc. (ERCI) is committed to helping our clients document their future environmental liabilities in the best way possible. 

Our staff of Analysts support the Associates and Managers who develop ERCI's environmental management software tools, conduct financial research, and participate in a wide variety of environmental risk evaluation projects.  ERCI is a team-oriented organization within which our analysts assume considerable responsibility for the daily completion of complex projects.  The successful Analyst will have a passion for expressing environmental remediation risks in a unique way.

Qualifications: 

At a minimum, the successful applicant will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a field requiring complex analytical and quantitative methods and skills such as Environmental Engineering, Environmental Economics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration
  • 0 to 4 years of applicable work experience
  • Preference for Certifications in using Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable conducting web-based research and distilling information into key findings
  • Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Dedication to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work within deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task
