Position Overview:
ENERCON's Tulsa, OK office has an opening for an Environmental Compliance Specialist to serve client environmental needs by evaluating, planning, organizing, and performing consulting services. Position will focus on air quality and will be responsible for technical aspects and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Market and develop air quality compliance clients
- Coordinate client deliverables, including the preparation of permit applications and regulatory reporting
- Assist with the preparation of technical and fee proposals, project schedules, and progress reports
- Develop and manage client relationships
- Conduct or manage environmental audits and sampling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years experience in air quality.
- Ability and desire to market air quality and other compliance services. Comfortable interfacing with clients.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in air permitting for all categories of sources, NSPS, and NESHAP for general industrial facilities and oil and gas industry.
- Must have regulatory knowledge and experience relating to air permitting, air monitoring, and air emissions including Title V.
- Regulatory Knowledge in any of the following areas a plus: Storm Water Pollution Prevention plans, sampling, and inspections; Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plans; RCRA, and Industrial Safety.
- Problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills.
- Good verbal communication skills with ability to maintain client relationships.
- Computer skills including experience with MS Office Word/Excel.
- 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
- Safe driving record.
