Environmental Auditor/Engineer

Duties:

• Developing Environmental Management Systems and environmental programs and procedures Developing and delivering environmental training programs
• Planning and completing EMS, ISO 14001, compliance, due diligence and other specialty environmental audits
• Phase I ESAs

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Engineering, or Environmental management, protection, science  or Occupational Health & Safety
• Demonstrated leadership skills combined with technical knowledge and experience in industrial processes.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in EMS development and EMS/compliance auditing,
• Certified or ability to be certified) as an EMS auditor/lead auditor by RAB or CEAA/CECAB.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and written skills are essential.
• French an asset.
• Working knowledge of laws and regulations regarding air, waste, solid waste, chemical management and hazardous materials is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently
