Position Description:
EnerNOC has an immediate need for an Energy Markets Associate to work with the Energy Markets group. Energy Markets supports EnerNOC's mission through market research and analysis, optimization of program participation, and execution of core operational tasks such as billing, data reconciliation, and customer management. This position is perfect for a highly-motivated recent graduate who is passionate about energy and would like to gain experience in a rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
The Associate will support the Energy Markets team by taking on a broad variety of challenges and responsibilities. Specific duties will include:
- Assist extensively with market research and analysis
- Use existing software tools to prepare financial customer/provider statements
- Maintain financial records for demand response market participants
- Perform daily nominations in demand response markets
The Associate will become an expert in EnerNOC's core operational processes and will develop a deep understanding of the general energy industry and demand response programs across the nation. In addition, all members of the Operations team support the demand response event management process when such events arise.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:
- BA/BS degree
- Superior computer skills including Windows and Microsoft Excel
- Strong self-motivation with the ability to work in a fast-paced, forward-moving environment
- Willingness and desire to learn new applications and technologies
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer relations skills
