ERS is a progressive energy engineering and consulting firm based in Haverhill, Massachusetts with additional offices in New York, Maine, and Texas. Our experienced staff is made up of Certified Energy Managers (CEMs), Professional Engineers (PEs), and LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs). We serve clients regionally, nationally, and internationally, and our areas of specialization include assessment and implementation of energy projects; development of analytical tools and database software systems for project energy analysis and utility program management; custom design; technology assessment; industrial process assessment; premium efficiency lighting design; and energy code compliance.
Position Overview:
The following positions are currently available at ERS.
Energy Project Engineers:
- 2-5 years energy engineering experience
- Opportunities available in MA, NY
Senior Engineers:
- 5+ years energy engineering experience
- Opportunities available in MA, NY
These positions require a dedicated interest in and knowledge of energy systems, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable practices for commercial building systems, new building construction, and industrial manufacturing operations. We seek candidates with significant experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Energy Efficiency and Building Use Modeling and Simulation
- HVAC Assessment and Analytical Modeling
- Demand Management / Demand Response
- State-of-the-Art Lighting Design M&V
- Building Simulation / Energy Modeling
- Building Commissioning
- High Performance and Green Buildings/LEED Certification
- Renewable Energy Technologies (Photovoltaics, Wind, etc.)
- Architectural Engineering, Building Science, Sustainable Practices
- Industrial Process Efficiency & Productivity
- Compressed Air Supply & Demand-Side Enhancements
- Energy Technology Applications (Photovoltaics, Wind, Distributed Generation, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Candidates will have experience conducting site surveys, performing measure analyses, and preparing comprehensive reports detailing analytical findings. The positions require the ability to work closely with customers, vendors, and efficiency program administrators as cost-effective projects are implemented. Design, construction administration, and project management interests or skills are a plus.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a relevant Mechanical Engineering education and background. A masters or advanced ME degree is preferred for senior level positions. Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills are mandatory.
