Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of the energy audit: proposals, client kick-offs, data collection, site visits, ECM identification, calculations, final report writing
• Report to Director of Engineering and Managing Director weekly
• Potentially manage internal or external team of energy managers
• Assist our LEED project managers with energy LEED credits, field work, and documentation
• Minimal travel - outside of New York City area up to 10 times a year

Qualifications:

• BS Mechanical Engineering
• BSME preferred, but will consider other Engineering degrees 
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar industry   
• Minimum 1 year Energy Audit experience in buildings over 50,000sf
• Experience with major HVAC equipment and BMS/EMS systems
• A major plus if you have one or more of the following: Professional Engineering license, Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor
• Energy Modeling experience preferred
• Excellent writing skills required (writing samples required)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Interested in becoming part of the fast growing Green Building Industry at one of New York City's premier sustainability and energy efficiency companies
