Position Overview:
CTC is seeking a qualified candidate to support the Army's Energy Initiatives Task Force (EITF) in our Arlington, VA location. CTC is working with the EITF to implement large-scale renewable energy systems across the Army enterprise through third-party investment projects. At times, 25-50% travel required to selected Army installations.
Responsibilities:
The Energy Engineer is responsible for the technical aspects of large-scale renewable energy project activities. Must be familiar with current renewable energy generation, including wind, solar, bio-mass, etc., and be capable of performing renewable energy assessments for the development of renewable energy for large-scale applications. The candidate must be able to articulate the assessed information into a site evaluation report and be capable of presenting the findings to the technical team.
Qualifications:
- 4-year Engineering Degree. Preferably Electrical
- 6-8 years relevant experience, minimum.
- PE desirable.
- Strong background in renewable energy systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Clearance: U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC Card.
