Position Overview
Under general supervision, this role evaluates the needs of segment customers and manages new and existing electric energy efficiency programs to respond to those needs.
The sucessful candidate will coordinate program implementation, including developing participation forecasts, designing promotions, managing contracts, tracking participation and budget, working with participating vendors, retailers, and contractors, and preparing regulatory compliance reports on programs.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Evaluates potential energy efficiency programs
- Assists in the development and management of marketing plans for programs or products including the preparation of scoping documents, financial analysis, market analysis, detailed action plans, communication plans, promotional plans, product distribution plans, training, and budgeting
- Assists in performing and coordinating market research, market assessments, and determining the technical, economic, and market potential for marketing programs
- Designs and implements advertising and promotions for the assigned program
- Coordinates with the Communications Department and advertising agency
- Monitors existing programs, measures performance and budget, and prepares program performance reports
- Provides support and training to interdepartmental personnel and Team members for the development of new products and services
- Coordinates and administers program development activities with civic, governmental, and regulatory agencies relevant to compliance, customer, and Company needs
- Works with trade allies on specific programs
- Works cooperatively with trade allies in the development of new customer programs
- Participates in external activities to promote favorable Company image and marketing programs
Qualifications
Preferences:
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
- Experience in copywriting, design and direct mail
- Understanding of energy efficiency concepts
