Position Overview:
Now accepting applications for an administrative assistant to aid with logistics and communications for several upcoming energy efficiency projects. This is a 16- to 24-hour per week position working out of our Silver Spring office.
This position offers the opportunity to work with the area’s leader in residential energy efficiency in efforts to help homeowners reduce their environmental impact while saving on their energy bills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide logistical support for utility and municipal Demand-Side Management (DSM) programs in the Baltimore-DC corridor
- Communicate statistical and qualitative information to homeowners and coworkers
- Manage scheduling for several employees
- Assist CFO with bookkeeping
Qualifications:
We will train all motivated candidates with preference given to those with the following:
- High school diploma (some college preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Google Calendars and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Familiarity with residential construction and/or building science
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is energetic, personable and self-motivated with a demonstrated passion for contributing to the sustainability movement.
Compensation: Based on experience.
