Electrical Foreman, Solar

Position Summary 

We are seeking candidates for the position of Electrical Foreman, Solar to work in the Duncan, South Carolina area. This role directly supervises and manages all on site activities of assigned projects

Responsibilities

• Ability to verify Safety Requirements, Work Progress, and Quality Control standards are met. 
• Develop a three-week look ahead that forecast Tools, Equipment, Information and Manpower needed to meet the project goals 
• Develop of task plans based on the requirements of the project 
• Supervise, coordinate, and assigns the task /
• Recommend or initiate personnel actions (promotions, transfers discharges, and disciplinary measures).
• Analyze and resolve work problems, and/or assist assigned team members in solving work problems.
• Interpret company policies to workers.
• Conducts and leads toolbox and safety meetings
• Train / Develop assigned staff 
• Ability to perform the work normally assigned to electricians
• Ability to prepare and provide documentation that includes but limited to:
  • Jobsite Safety Analysis
  • Daily Job Journals
  • Completion and As-Built Drawings
  • Weekly Time Sheets
  • Production Reports

Qualifications

Education, Training and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (G.E.D) 
• Thorough knowledge of the NEC
• Basic Computer Skills
• 4-10 years related experience or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Solar experience preferred but not required
• Bi-Lingual is a plus but not required

Working Conditions

• Work 40 hours per week, overtime as required that includes weekends and night shifts. 
• Work out of town as required  
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (Hard hat, vest, protective eyewear, safety boots.) 
• Work is performed indoors and outdoors, often exposed to the natural elements of cold, heat, moisture, and wind 
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis
• Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements and background screening process
