Description
Trout Unlimiteds Colorado Water Project seeks a multi-talented individual to
join our Boulder office as Education and Outreach Coordinator. Job is
action-oriented and includes research, extensive use of oral and written
communication skills, advocacy, willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks
(including some website design and office management work), general
computer skills and working knowledge of Front Page and PowerPoint.
AT LEAST TWO YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE WITH A CONSERVATION OR
ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATION IS REQUIRED.
Trout Unlimited is a conservation organization with over 125,000 members
nationally, and 8000 in Colorado. The mission of TUs Colorado Water Project
is to protect and restore healthy cold-water fisheries by affecting water
allocation and water quality decisions and by increasing public participation in

Position requires a two-year commitment starts August 1st in Boulder.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate has the following skills and/or experience:
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Public speaking experience
- 2+ years work history with conservation grp
- Knowledge of website design/maintainence
- Some knowledge of western water issues
- Experience organizing the public
- Administrative skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel in Colorado
