Description
~ The New York Restoration Project (NYRP) is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to transforming open space in underserved communities to create a more sustainable New York City. ~
Since our founding in 1995 by Bette Midler, NYRP has planted trees, renovated gardens, restored parks, and activated public spaces throughout the five boroughs. As New York's only citywide conservancy, we bring resources to public spaces that need support, creating a healthier environment for those who live in the most densely populated and least green neighborhoods.
As NYRP approaches its 25th anniversary, the organization is poised to celebrate significant accomplishments and engage new supporters in our vision for greening New York’s future. At this exciting moment in the organization’s trajectory, the Director of Marketing and Communications will play a key role in creating and executing a strategic, multi-channel plan to increase our visibility, broaden our reach, and inspire people to give, engage, and volunteer.
Note: We are looking for a creative, digitally savvy professional to join our mission-driven team. The successful candidate will be an inspired storyteller, clear-thinking strategist, and capable project manager.
