Director of Sustainable Education

Green CE, Inc., is an online resource for design professionals who want to learn about green building, sustainability, conservation, and how to create a healthy environment. Our mission is to educate design professionals about environmental benefits, health benefits, and economic benefits when designing a building. 

Position Overview: 

Green CE is seeking to fill the position of Director of Sustainable Education.  

Responsibilities:

• Create and present courses for AIA and LEED continuing education
• Update and present courses for LEED exam prep
• Help identify and coordinate with outside experts to deliver continuing education courses on specialty topics
• Create and present courses for product manufacturers based on topics relevant to LEED
• Create LEED data sheets for product manufacturers
• Oversee activities of the webinar coordinator
• Occasional travel throughout the United States for national conferences and face-to-face presentations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Architecture, or related design or construction industry
• 3+ years experience in an architecture, construction, or sustainability consulting firm
• Experience with LEED: LEED AP BD+C credential, or previous experience working on LEED projects
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent written skills, to communicate with clients and market services
• Good graphic capabilities (Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
• Works well independently and with small teams, in a collaborative and creative environment
• Computer Skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite or similar, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Prezi
