RealGreen Power (RGP) transforms wastewater into clean water and renewable power, with zero waste and zero pollution. Our systems rely on biological processes that are fundamentally simple, reliable, and natural. RGP uses the wastes from one process to create value in the next, thus eliminating waste and pollution altogether while producing value added products like clean water and methane.

RGP targets agricultural facilities and is partnering with well-known construction and engineering companies to deliver turnkey solutions to a wide range of applications.

Position Overview:

  • Reporting to: Head of Business Development who is a member of the executive team
  • Direct Reports: Current contract sales consultants, possibly additional sales staff in the near future
  • Other Interactions: field operations, production, executives, strategic partners and vendors

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and close critical early sales opportunities in Dairies, Breweries and Wastewater facilities.
  • Manage internal sales leads through proposal process and initial technology setup.
  • Develop a winning sales methodology and direct the sales effort into predetermined and emerging market segments.
  • Participate in developing company sales strategy and lead its implementation and execution in Northern California and Hawaii.
  • Build, nurture and manage strategic relationships with strategic partners and channels to market.
  • Routinely communicate sales status, forecasts and business opportunities to the executive team and company.
  • Develop and perfect the RFP process.
  • Actively participate in production scheduling and inventory planning efforts to ensure company can deliver on sales commitments economically.
  • Recruit, train and develop a successful sales organization.
  • Develop, with executive management, the commission structure for sales team.

Geographic Reach:

  • US markets: initially focusing on California and Hawaii
  • Some possibility of international sales.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of success in sales and sales management for $1M+ system implementations in an agriculture industry sector.
  • Proven record of selling wastewater treatment and/or renewable energy systems or services to commercial and industrial markets.
  • Experience crafting, presenting and implementing successful sales plans.
  • Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree desirable.
  • Knowledge of bio-chemistry basics a plus.
  • Self-starter with strong desire for team work.

Compensation: commensurate with experience; performance bonus; stock options.
