Director of Sales

Conergy, Inc., a major leader and rapidly expanding company in the global renewable energy market has an immediate opening for a DIRECTOR OF SALES.

This position will plan and execute sales activities; plan and direct staffing; assist in the preparation of goals and budgets; continuously monitor sales reports and operational records; evaluate market needs and make product and services recommendations; educate and counsel customers on company operating policies and procedures and stimulate interest in new products and programs; assist in the strategic plan for market expansion and development.

In conjunction with Finance, Warehouse and Operations Departments, coordinate and ensure internal processes, including accounting, recordkeeping, shipping and customer service operations are optimized to respond to customer needs and support sales efforts. Represent Conergy at trade association meetings and shows to promote products and services. Ensure that all proposals, contracts and customer price agreements are processed in a timely manner. 

Successful and confident candidates should possess a BA or MBA degree; have a minimum of 5 years professional experience in management and leadership of sales teams; possess strong communication skills; possess highly developed analytical skills with a high affinity for technical products; knowledge of the renewable energy market a plus.
