Position Overview: 

We are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our Commercial team. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Strategy, this individual will be responsible for helping to drive Renmatix's global growth and long-term development. A growing company, Renmatix is looking for strong talent with an interest in taking on additional responsibilities and growing with the company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead proposal development and take responsibility for cross-functional projects from conception to completion, with guidance from the VP, Strategy and collaboration with peers
• Involved with all business development relationships, acting as lead on specific relationships
• Work independently or as a member of a small team to conduct rigorous research and analysis and advise senior management on business issues
• Participate in cross-functional teams with key internal clients and business partners including R&D, Process Technology, Engineering and Executive Leadership

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in science or engineering, is required; MBA is a plus
• Three to five years of experience working in strategy consulting, preferably with a top-tier firm
• Prior experience working in the chemical, oil or agriculture sectors
• Strong analytical capabilities and significant experience developing data-driven analyses; experience with quantitative sales a plus
• Experience with negotiating and closing agreements with potential customers
• Demonstrated success leading cross functional teams to develop and drive proposals and projects
• Financial modeling and analysis capability
• Experience working in a company with a licensing business model preferred
• Advanced proficiency with standard business software, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook) as well as PowerPoint
