Description
The Development Assistant works closely with the Annual Gifts Manager, Membership Manager and Development Associate to help implement the annual giving program, special campaigns and associated donor events. This includes entering and acknowledging all campaign and annual gifts less than $2,499, providing administrative support for our pledge program, and proofing recognition lists and donor materials. Prepares and mails monthly renewal notices up to $2,499. Provides support for phones and membership data entry; administrative support for special events; and special membership card runs. Provides administrative support for stock gifts, commemorative and matching gifts.
Minimum four year degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years experience in development/fund raising in a non-profit organization. Excellent customer service and written/oral communication skills. Excellent computer skills including Windows, Excel and data base systems.
