Position Overview
WegoWise performs high-volume data collection
from over 550 utility companies nation-wide. We are seeking an individual to monitor our data importation processes
to ensure that they are functioning as expected, identify when they are not,
and troubleshoot the causes for failure.
The ideal
candidate will have a high level of attention to detail and be highly skilled
at information organization. An understanding of utility data and vocabulary is
helpful, but not required. This is a junior position.
Responsibilities
- You will be trained in the use of our product and expected to become highly knowledgeable about the platform.
- You will be expected to work well gathering data from a variety of sources and enjoy interacting with others to accomplish tasks.
- As we expand our national footprint the candidate will need to manage the creation of new data importers, including mapping how to collect data, working closely with software engineers on build-out, and running quality assurance on finished importers to ensure data accuracy.
- Candidates will serve as the intermediary between the sales/customer service team and the software engineers balancing the needs of each team to match importer development and maintenance with company-wide priorities.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Candidates should have a
bachelor’s degree. - Familiarity with utility data and reading utility bills is
also a plus, but not required. - Candidates should be very comfortable with
internet applications and productivity software like Excel, Word, and Power
Point and able to readily learn new software.

- Candidate should
be highly organized, self-directed, and someone who easily learns and adapts to
new systems and evolving project needs. - Key motivations include contributing to

Compensation: Salary is
commensurate with experience. Position provides excellent benefits and
vacation.
