Position Overview:

Community Energy, Inc. is seeking candidates for a full-time position in Customer Service.  The position in the Marketing Division of the Company requires customer relations skills and a passion for renewable energy.  The position is based in the company headquarters in Radnor, PA, and reports directly to the Director of Mass Market Operations, responsible for the daily coordination and success of various clean energy partnerships with utility companies throughout the country. 

The Company has a history of promoting from within and welcomes candidates looking to gain experience in renewable energy and advance as the Company grows.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone inquiries from current and potential customers with appropriate messages in a friendly, professional manner
  • Develop strategy and procedures for customer care related to residential programs
  • Manage phone schedule, data entry, quality control, and customer communications
  • Work in cooperation with Director of Mass Market Operations on utility billing issues through the established electronic data interface system
  • Develop plans for inbound communications as part of customer acquisition and retention programs
  • Track and manage telephone and data entry performance measures
  • Monitor market segmentation regarding industry progression to develop staff adequately and report out to the marketing team

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for interaction with customers, utility partners, team members and management
  • Goal-oriented performance; ability to manage to the goal and maintain priorities
  • Knowledge of sales processes
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to think creatively, devise alternate approaches and improve upon existing processes
  • Flexibility; ability to work independently and complete work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively meet assigned deadlines
  • Working knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the renewable energy industry
