CEDA's (Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County, Inc.) Weatherization department is the nation's largest home energy conservation program in the nation.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a qualified candidate to assist the Contractor Operations Office in reviewing assessments, maintaining and monitoring the job assignment system, and evaluating change orders. Individual must handle customer inquiries, advise contractors and their crews as to proper procedures, and administer filing systems. Performs assessments, final inspections, and contractor assistance during field assignments.
Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to, filing/tracking job folders; checking jobs for budget compliance and assignment to proper funding source; reviewing and correcting field assessments and change orders; directing contractors and their crews as to correct procedures; answering customer inquiries (phone, fax, E-mail, and post).
Qualifications:
2 years college required; BA/BS preferred. Minimum 2 years experience with Weatherization or closely related industry. Must be trained or obtain training after hire as an Illinois Certified Auditor. Competent with MS Office. Certification in, or ability to obtain certification after hire, as an Illinois Certified Auditor.
Travel: Within the geographical Cook County area and out of county to attend sessions and related conferences.
