Description
Design build firm specializing in custom timber structures and homes is looking for an experienced, motivated and organized leader to oversee both our construction department, with further coordination and integration responsibilities with our design department.
We are a highly innovative and flexible construction company that incorporates our own timber frame manufacturing, fine woodworking, sawmill and millworks facilities in parallel to our design/build activities.
This position encompasses a major leadership role in the company, and requires extensive building experience. In addition, the successful candidate will be sensitive to sustainable building issues, have a good rapport with co-workers and direct reports, be confident with potential and actual clientele, and have a creative feeling for the design process. As noted, it's a big role. For the person who lives to build, it's a dream job.
