Description

International Cleantech business network Agrion LLC is expanding its long established operations in San Francisco. Agrion LLC is currently in its start-up phase, financially backed and supported by French-German Business Network Elenbi S.A..

Agrion joins companies tackling issues of energy, Cleantech and sustainable development. Agrion's operations consist in organizing conferences (ranging from weekly to annual summits), managing an online business network, and providing industry news and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Research key industry leaders in specific fields and help our team build our member base.
  • Organize conferences and events (finding speakers, conference rooms, negotiate with potential partners, etc...)
  • Network with leaders in the industry
  • Specialize in the issues that face each our community in order to contribute to new seminar topics.
  • Stay well informed and up-to-date about the industry and communicate key points to the team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor Degree and 3 yrs of working experience
  • Networking skills and ability to professionally approach potential clients to expand business relations
  • Background and strong interest in the industry of energy, Cleantech and sustainable development
  • Self motivated to educate yourself on the community topics
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills, as well as listening and reporting skills
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous and consistent
  • Flexible, adaptive, self-starting, resourceful and motivated
  • Experience with professional blogging a strong plus

Note: Responsibilities will evolve as the organization expands

Compensation: This is a full-time employee position (on payroll). A presence at the San Francisco office is required. The position reports to Agrion's General Manager and will be in daily communication with the rest of the international team.
