The Womens Opportunities Resource Center is a nationally recognized not-for-profit organization headquartered in Philadelphia that promotes social and economic self-sufficiency for economically disadvantaged women and their families.
Duties:
WORC seeks a hands-on Chief Operating Officer. The ideal candidate will be a committed, talented and experienced nonprofit professional who will oversee and manage the daily operations of the agency including administration, program and fiscal management. S/he will report to WORCs President.
Qualifications:
The individual will have outstanding management skills, be able to promote teamwork among a diverse staff and have experience in managing federal, state and private contracts. S/he must be able to maintain a clear perspective while juggling competing priories.
The candidate must have a commitment and knowledge of Economic Development and womens poverty alleviation strategies.
Min BS/BA in relevant filed + 5yr mgt. Exp.
