Campaign Manager

Yes For Seattle, a citizen organization working to close the gap
between elected leadership and the residents of Seattle, is running a
ballot initiative to restore Seattle Creeks. Initiative 80, which will be on
the September ballot, would protect and enhance habitat for fish and
wildlife, increase open space, and reduce pollution entering Seattle's
treasured waterways. The initiative is endorsed by most major
environmental groups working on local issues, including WCV, Sierra
Club, WashPIRG, LCC, Audubon Society, plus local and community
groups.

We are seeking a high energy, experienced organizer to lead the
campaign to victory. This is a full time job running through September.

Duties:

The Campaign Coordinator is supported by an active and energetic
steering committee, Yes For Seattles board of directors, and a large
volunteer base. As a key part of this team, the coordinators
responsibilities include:

• Help develop and implement a winning campaign plan
• Recruit and oversee interns and volunteers
• Collaborate on communications, message and media work
• Maintain and expand our grassroots capacity
• Maximize involvement from I-80 endorsers
• Manage campaign fundraising efforts

This is a contract position, with salary based upon experience.

Qualifications:

We will be looking for candidates with political and campaign
management experience, including experience developing and
implementing successful grassroots campaigns, fundraising plans,
strategic planning, communications, and volunteer relations. Applicants
should work well in a collaborative team environment and be able to
maintain a flexible schedule including evening and weekend work.
