Description

Aircuity is a high growth, entrepreneurial company with an award winning energy efficiency technology that cost-effectively reduces the energy required to heat, cool, and ventilate buildings. The company's product, Optinet, optimizes ventilation of a building while simultaneously improving the building's indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and reducing carbon and green house gas emissions. The Company has over 100 installations operating today with an excellent customer list including; Bank of America, Vornado, University of Pennsylvania, Arizona State University, UC Irvine, and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Executive: Business Development in execution of strategic and tactical business development plan to drive sales in the Government and Higher Education sector.
  • Research and prepare reports regarding energy efficiency and sustainability RFPs, plans and activities for multiple Federal Government agencies including GSA, DOD, NIH, and DOE.
  • Identify key competitors, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders for potential teaming or partner agreements.
  • Coordinate business development activities with sales team.
  • Assist sales team in strategic account management with key customers to improve customer relationships.
  • Monitor external environment and competitive trends.
  • Participate in DC based Green Building, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability industry associations to promote the Company's business position.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sales related work experience, including some combination of specific industry or educational experience: such as in green buildings, energy efficiency, renewable energy, or environmental economics or policy. Educational and/or work experience with the Federal Government a plus.

Specific attributes and skills should include:

  • Strong interest and aptitude for sales;
  • Good analytical skills and ability to analyze opportunities;
  • Good research skills needed for detail oriented market and industry research;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively both with people inside and outside the Company;
  • Self-starter, someone who is very motivated and able to work autonomously;
  • Strong computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce

Compensation: $50,000/year
