Description

To meet the demands for our current clients as well as take advantage of every new opportunity, we are currently accepting applications to fill the full-time positions listed below. These positions are exciting career opportunities with growth potential in sustainable design consulting. The right candidate will be offered a position immediately.

Responsibilities consist of research, analysis and management of issues related to site, materials, environmental quality, and water use efficiency. These are often in the context of the LEED rating system as supporting projects with LEED certification goals is a large part of the required work. Responsibilities also include client interaction and communication, on-site and office project work, compiling LEED certification documentation and performing LEED calculations; project management and project tracking are also required. While the position entails interaction with designers, it is not a design position. 

Preferable applicants should have the following: 

* Educational background in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related environmental field with inter-disciplinary skills is required
* 1-2 years professional work experience in commercial and institutional building design and construction, preferably with emphasis on energy and environmental concepts, is required. Experience in managing multiple, complex projects/tasks is a plus.
* Ability to read, understand and navigate through building drawings and specifications is required
* Experience with quantitative technical analysis such as energy performance and water use, support and implementation of sustainable design concepts and details during design and construction, project management and documentation is preferred.
* Knowledge and/or experience with programs and analytical tools such as EnergyStar label program, building energy modeling etc is a plus
* A strong ability to manage and absorb technical details from a big picture perspective in order to contribute and communicate to a technical team in a detailed and comprehensive style
* Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
* Excellent Excel and web skills are required
* Novice to intermediate level experience or knowledge of the LEED Green Building Rating Systems
* LEED Accredited Professional or LEED project experience is a plus.

Qualifications 

We are looking for team-oriented people who work well with minimal supervision in a small office environment. Strong professional skills and a positive, flexible attitude are essential. 

A promising candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
