Description
A leader in corporate responsibility since 1992, BSR is seeking an Associate, Partnership Development, to be based in either our New York City or San Francisco office.
BSR works with its global network of more than 275 member companies to develop sustainable business strategies and solutions through consulting, research, and cross-sector collaboration. With seven offices in Asia, Europe, and North America, BSR uses its expertise in the environment, human rights, economic development, and governance and accountability to guide global companies toward creating a just and sustainable world.
Position Overview:
BSR seeks an experienced Associate for its Partnership Development function to support the implementation of our donor engagement strategy, which will require a heavy focus on grant-writing to support the design, monitoring and implementation of social and environmental sustainability projects in collaboration with a global team spanning seven offices.
The Partnership Development Team at BSR implements a wide variety of programs with support from private foundations and bilateral, as well as multilateral agencies, to further our mission of creating a just and sustainable world. Our grant-funded initiatives are global in scope and serve an important role in BSR's efforts to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Our development projects seek to harness the organizational, operational, technological and financial acumen of the private sector in the pursuit of more environmentally and socially sustainable development. As such, it is critical that the Associate thrives working in an organizational environment that connects the private sector with the sustainability and development agendas.
