~ Cadeo Group is an energy efficiency analysis and research firm. We work at the intersection of energy efficiency policy, markets, and technology. Give us two of the three and we are happy. Three? Pigs in mud.  ~

We support utility, government, and NGO clients in their efforts to positively impact the world. Our goal is help them get better at what they do, usually by providing analysis and market insights that support better and more strategic decision making.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of an Associate at our company are varied and unpredictable. You will:

• Contribute to every aspect of a project from identifying opportunities to proposal writing to analysis and research to report writing to presentation delivery;
• Develop spreadsheet models for analysis; write reports; and craft compelling presentations of research and analysis results;
• Be empowered and depended on to make a real difference in a growing company;
• Learn more about the intersection of energy efficiency, markets, and policy than you thought possible.

Beyond all the perfunctory superlatives-e.g., outstanding writing skills, problem solving ability, people skills-we are looking for people with: 

• A drive to figure things out; 
• A degree in engineering, economics or related field;
• Masters degree or 1-5 years of experience in related fields; 
• Facility with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and slide presentation software;
• Ability to travel and to work overtime hours as needed; 
• Experience in demand-side management, spreadsheet modeling, and/or interview-based research a strong preference.
