ILM Partners Executive Search is assisting in find the right candiates for the postion of Assitant Director, Catholic Responsible Investing for CRI. 

Position Overview 

The Assistant Director of Catholic Responsible Investing will work with the Director of CRI to plan and
implement our client, Christian Brothers Investment Services' CRI program, focusing on active ownership (shareholder
advocacy) to encourage corporate behaviors that positively impact people and
the planet.


Responsibilities
 

Leads Department's Active Ownership (AO) by:  

  • Lead corporate engagements in order to influence the policies and practices of corporations in the portfolio, including filing resolutions and participating in corporate engagements.
  • Research and define existing and new AO focus areas.
  • Develop and maintain national and international networks of partners.
  • Write compelling articles and reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Participate in meetings with prospects and participant. Make presentations, internally and externally.
  • Measure progress, assessing impact, and evaluating the effectiveness of engagements and initiatives. 

Qualifications  

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Knowledge of issues related to corporate responsibility, with expertise on such topics as environment, human rights, and sustainability.
  • Expertise in research in order to gather and distill information on a variety of issues and companies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of both large and small groups to communicate complex concepts.
