Description
The Washington Humane Society's busy administrative office at 7838 Eastern Avenue, NW seeks an energetic and enthusiastic individual to manage the various administrative needs of our organization:
Provide administrative support to Executive Director
Handle meeting scheduling and set-up
Provide assistance with Board communications
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
Coordinate all office needs - postage, supplies, building maintenance, office equipment
Provide clerical support to various departments - Finance, Communication and Outreach, Human Resources
Additional Qualifications:
To qualify, you must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be detail-oriented, resourceful and highly organized. Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and the willingness to provide computer support to office staff are required. Must be dependable and have the flexibility to occasionally work overtime. Experience in a similar position is required. Access to reliable transportation is a must. A college degree is strongly preferred.
