Description

Sustainable Community Development (SCD) manufactures and distributes a specific probiotic technology. We distribute products not only in the US but also all over the world. SCD offers a dynamic environment and excellent opportunities.

Position Overview:

The best candidate for this position will be able to work in QuickBooks and SalesForce.com, talk to customers from multiple nationalities, create reports in Word and Excel, multi-task and work in a high-paced environment. This position will work under direction of the Senior Business Manager and interact regularly with the Accounting and Fulfillment departments.

Responsibilities:

Include, but not limited to:

  • Account Coordinator for Assigned Accounts
  • Customer Communication
  • Conduct customer business reviews- regular update meetings with the customer and coordinate with the rest of the SCD Team.
  • Contractual reviews of customers under contract with SCD.
  • International travel for business negotiations may be necessary.
  • Order Fulfillment
  • Manage logistics of shipments providing updates to customer
  • Maintain checklist for order fulfillment, timely shipment, labeling, customer specific needs and requests, etc.
  • Update CRM program (SalesForce.com) with all Customer information:
  • Manage customer files, updating contacts, pertinent business information, manage and administer CRM functions
  • Send Invoices & Statements
  • Customer Correspondences
  • Provide Royalty information and updates per customer to Sales Team
  • Provide A/R updates to Sales Team
  • Collection of Past Due Accounts as needed
  • Coordinating with other departments to fulfill customer requests
  • Maintain close communication with project teams
  • New Business Development - initial contact with new prospects, qualifying and running processes surrounding contract negotiations, price negotiations and first orders.
  • Provide Sales presentations and introductory training for new customers
  • Regular interaction with all departments of the company is required to identify, communicate and help resolve customer service issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Experience with Customer Reporting Software, SalesForce.com preferred
  • Experience with SKYPE & GoToMeeting type software a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel - some international travel may be needed.
  • Foreign Language a plus
