Position Overview

EcoTech is currently seeking a Field Admissions Representative. Field Admission Representative will report to the Director of Enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Splits time between prospecting leads in the field and meeting with students in the office.
  • Maintains assigned student database with consistent contact through phone, email, and text through students’ first term.
  • Generates potential student leads through persistent and documented contact.
  • Responds to inquiries from students, parents and employers and documents all interactions.
  • Identifies, prospects, and qualifies new employer, military, and school opportunities, promoting the value of Ecotech Institute educational products and solutions for the company and its employees.
  • Reviews market analyses, monitors competitive activity and proactively identifies client needs to expand the relationship.
  • Works collaboratively with Ecotech Institute departments to identify educational solutions that support each potential contact’s business and educational needs.
  • Prepares and presents recommendations to company, school and military leadership and employees that are aligned with employer expectations and consistent with the Ecotech Institute brand.
  • Drives and maintains high customer service levels within assigned account base.
  • Seeks, attends and participates in educational and professional events to represent Ecotech Institute and drive new business opportunities (career fairs, college fairs, military events etc.)
  • Advises students and buying committee regarding educational opportunities within the renewable energy industry and enrollment requirements, policies and procedures of Ecotech Institute.
  • Provides prospective students with pertinent information regarding Enrollment processes and costs. Works directly with Enrollment Specialists on student enrollment.
  • Distributes resources and promotional materials designed for the recruitment and retention of targeted groups.
  • Conducts effective group presentations within defined geographic area.
  • Submits weekly report to Director of Enrollment of daily/weekly/yearly schedule.
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related field is preferred or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field with similar job duties and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated track record of 3+ years successful consultative sales/admissions experience
  • Military knowledge and/or affiliation preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate professionally, persuasively and confidently over phone, e-mail and in face to face appointments.
  • Ability to politically navigate through an organization to interact with key decision makers.
  • Complete understanding of sales cycles, exceptional closing skills.
  • Experience developing and selling complex value propositions.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Highly organized with strong planning and time management skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort: 

  • Requires some local travel.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. and be able to stand on feet 4-6 hours while attending events.
