Position Overview

The role will be based out of San Angelo Texas and the Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations, Jonathan Click. Airway Services is a small organization so team members are asked to wear multiple hats in that you will oversee a project from the award phase through invoicing and will be heavily involved in the aspects in between.

While the title of this job role alludes to leading the main components team, the manager awarded to this positions will be expected to lead crews with a variety of services if asked and the role will not only be limited to main component changes only. We are looking for team players that will support the rest of our team as needed and welcome new challenges within our business sector.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing all personnel on site to exemplify and reinforce the organization’s excellent reputation and model the organization’s values.
  • Interacting effectively with customers and prospective customers to maximize satisfaction, retention and new business development across the entire market.
  • Continuous development of procedures and processes to grow and enhance our capabilities.
  • Purchase, maintain and track tooling for the team while gaining approval through direct supervisor to prepare AWS for new opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Meeting/exceeding the projected profitability of budgets.
  • Making intentional decisions on where to invest time and energy to achieve optimal performance.
  • Ensuring that Operations on each site are streamlined and consistent across all projects.
  • Establishment and maintenance of a positive, high performing team culture across the team
  • Applicants should be willing to travel up four weeks at a time and potentially more if asked.
  • The job can be 80% travel and potentially more.
  • Develop a team that have a wide array of experience on multiple platform with high level skill sets with main components, p.m.’s, and general wind turbine experience.
  • Personal as well as team growth through effective training and development to ensure the continuous improvement and development of skills and competencies across the organization.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Project Management: 5 years.
