Position Overview

HDR is currently seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Developing scope of work, budgets, schedules.
  • Writing proposals and reports including CERCLA documents.
  • Leading & managing complex & multifaceted site investigation and remediation projects.

Senior Technical Hydrogeologic Resource:

  • Remediation hydrogeology related to site investigations and remediation.
  • Groundwater supply development and management.
  • Groundwater flow and solute transport modeling a plus.

Staff Supervision:

  • Staff development, management, and mentoring.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in geology/hydrogeology, engineering, or related field.
  • License to practice geology in New York preferred.
  • 20 years experience with complex remediation projects such as superfund sites (EPA, USACE) is required.
  • Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidates who reside locally in the metro NY/NJ area are preferred.
