Position Overview

The PV Solar Panel Installer is responsible for installing residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. In addition to the skills and experience outlined below, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the solar industry, is a team player, whose values are in line with our own and has the ability to learn and follow our processes.

Responsibilities

Your typical day as a PV Solar Panel Installer will be spent at the job site performing the following duties:

• Prepping homes for panel installation by installing roof railings and stand offs
• Mounting solar panels on homes
• Properly flashing all roof penetrations
• Conducting supervised light electrical work including running electrical DC wires to inverters
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment

Qualifications

To be considered for our Solar Installer opportunity you must:

• Be able to climb ladders to get on a roof
• Be able to work on roofs for 4-6 hours a day
• Ability to bend conduit is a plus

Solar Installers must also possess the following experience:

• 1+ year experience working on a roof
• 1+ year working in the construction industry
• Electrical experience is a plus
• PV experience is a plus

Other requirements:

• Valid HI Driver’s License
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Report (no DUIs in the last 7 years)
• Pass a criminal background check and drug test
