Sr. Solar Performance Project Manager

Position Overview

We are in search of a Project Manager for our Operations team. The Project Manager is responsible to plan, direct, coordinate or budget process/projects concerned with Operations. The Project Manager will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation and will work directly with various key stakeholders and teams within the business.

Responsibilities

• Working with managers and directors of multiple departments to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with performance projects.
• Establishing project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
• Work with employees at the corporate office as well as remotely located employees to roll out new projects.
• Work with direct manager to identify and execute new projects based on areas of low efficiency or poor performance.
• Monitoring and control project through administrative direction of supervisors to ensure project is completed on schedule with available resources.
• Deep awareness and understanding of department goals and areas of focus, working to create projects and processes that supplement those goals.
• Maintaining good relationship with managers and other coworkers.
• Formulating reports and updates for current projects and being able to monitor the success of those projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent mathematical skills, including application and use in problem-solving.
• Ability to present project proposals to management with clear goals and timelines outlined.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage several projects at the same time.
• Strong verbal and oral communications skills.
• Sensitivity to problems; proactive ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and innovate new solutions.
• Ability to work well with little direction and identify areas for improvement independently.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree/experience combination.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field and position preferred.
• Experience in project management preferred.
• Employees of Vivint Solar must submit to a criminal history check, motor vehicles check, drug screening, and obtain clearance from the state based upon the state requirements.
