Position Overview
The Farm Worker at Boni-Bel is responsible for supporting all aspects of the farm which includes but is not limited to working in the garden, orchard, Maple House and Greenhouse as a support to the Organic farmer.
The position may, under supervision, participate in mentoring and working with students in the garden, greenhouse and farm landscape. Position task focus is on propagating plants, weeding, harvesting crops, doing general farm work, cutting grass and attending to day-to-day garden chores.
The timeframe for the position is February - December.
Qualifications
- High-schooldiploma, GED, or equivalent.
- A strong background in farming, garden work and/ormanual labor is required.
