Position Overview

Milone & MacBroom, Inc. is seeking a qualified, motivated Environmental Scientist to work at our branch office located in New Haven, Connecticut. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing environmental services for a wide range of environmental projects that include wetland and soil science, environmental permitting, coastal resource assessments, wildlife habitat evaluations, and environmental impact analysis.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a seasoned professional and contribute to a wide range of environmental projects that include wetland and soil science, environmental permitting, coastal resource assessments, wildlife habitat evaluations, and environmental impact analysis.

Qualifications

The Environmental Scientist should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Natural Resources Management.
• 2 to 4 years’ professional experience in environmental consulting.
• Experience with local, state, and federal environmental laws/regulations & permitting requirements including, but now limited to, Section 10/404 federal permitting, 401 water quality certifications, NEPA and CEPA.
• Proficiency in geographic information systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
