Position Overview

Palm Beach State College is currently seeking an Adjunct Instructor, Environmental Science to teach Environmental Science courses to college students.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.
  • Develop discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities.
  • Maintain college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.
  • Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Botany, Water Management, Zoology, Geology, Geospatial Science, or Agriculture/Agriscience.

OR

  • Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Environmental Science, Botany, Biology, Water Management, Zoology, Geology, Geospatial Science, or Agriculture/Agriscience.
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom; must be able to use the technology required for the assigned course.
  • Coursework within the degree must reflect competencies in the courses to be taught.
