Position Overview

University Hospitals is seeking an Environmental Service Worker II, FT Geauga.

Responsibilities

• Ability to clean patients rooms, public spaces and the collection of trash and bio hazardous material.
• Familiar with using: Vacuum, wide vacuum, mop, wringer, burnisher, ladder, extractor.
• Ability to assist family members and patients of all ages.
• Ability to identify and/or perform light maintenance requests.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• 1 year of cleaning experience required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Surface-cleaning techniques.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, as well as, exhibits a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
