Position Overview

Think of it like running your own business. You will be your own boss and with flexible hours. The more time and effort you put in, the better the chances of success and making money. Most of the times you will be working remote and with only 2 days required to show up for meetings in the office.

You will be primary ambassadors for the company. As Energy Consultants, your primary job is to educate our customers about renewable energy and its implications for our communities and the world.

Responsibilities

  • The Company will provide the leads for you. This is a Commission Based position with a Draw for the 1st 3 months.
  • You don’t pay for the leads or hunt for leads. After the appointment is made and double confirmed, you’ll be the second point of contact between True Renewable Energy and prospective customers.
  • You will lay the groundwork for an exceptional customer experience. You will speak with prospective customers in discussions about True Renewable Energy, energy efficient products and leave them wanting to learn more!
  • You will be responsible for completing the application process and completing the financial part.
  • We provide Paid Training for our new consultants. We are in the business of making you an expert in this field.
  • You will work with Sales Managers and VP of Sales on a continuous basis; The Door is always open if you want to learn in becoming an expert.

Qualifications

  • Must be Professional, Self-motivated starter, and punctual.
  • Available to work 6 days a week.
  • Establish and maintain sales pipeline Self-generate, nurture, and close leads within the territory.
  • A positive attitude, competitive spirit, resilience, integrity and the ability to deliver superb customer-centric service are required.
  • You should be a quick learner, flexible, and adaptable to changes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Prior experience in Solar, Home Improvement preferred, but not required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Having solar, HVAC or roofing/windows experience is helpful but not necessary.
  • We are seeking self-motivated, self-sufficient, consulting sales professionals to represent our residential solar systems in the Bay Area.
  • Success will be dependent on your ability to interact with homeowners to ensure 100% customer satisfaction throughout the consulting engagement.
  • The Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving annual goals.
  • We desire professionals with experience and highly technical skills. Income potential for top earners is $250,000+.
  • Valid State Driver’s License.
  • Min 18 years of age with a High School Diploma; College Graduates are welcome as well.
  • Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Sales license required upon hiring.
  • Must own a reliable car.

Minimum Sales Experience:

  • 1-2 years in Telemarketing, Outside Sales, or Business Development.
  • Proficient with Email, Microsoft Office, Basic Math Skills, and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and some holiday hours required.

Compensation

  • Paid Training.
  • You will have a Guaranteed Draw the first 3 months ($1500.00/month).
  • Your First 3-months are part of the probationary period (to see if you are the right fit for the job).
