Ready to make an impact on your career, client projects and the community? B&N is looking for a Geologist with at least three years of experience to join our team in Columbus, OH. This position will work on a variety of interesting projects and offers growth for personal development.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting and evaluating environmental data with emphasis on analyzing groundwater characteristics and quality.
  • Prepare groundwater statistics, groundwater flow modeling, and groundwater production analysis.
  • Perform on-site field work such as soil and groundwater sampling as well as soil and groundwater remediation.
  • Opportunities to seek out and develop client relations and grow existing and new business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Geology from an ABET accredited university, a Master’s degree in Hydrogeology strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years related work experience in preparing, reviewing and interpreting geologic data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (especially Word, Excel and Access), Modflow or similar software. Prior Experience with MiniTab a plus.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification strongly preferred, 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher beneficial.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including overnight travel.
  • Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills.
