Position Overview

PetersenDean is currently looking for a Lead Solar Installer for our location in West Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities

The master position will provide leadership and expertise for our solar installation crews while attending to the following responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and expertise
  • Project status updates
  • Inventory
  • Timely installations
  • Work off of plan designs
  • Layout and assembly of solar modules and mounting hardware
  • Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
  • Electrical wiring of solar system (AC and DC)
  • Job completion documentation
  • Clean job site

Qualifications

  • Solar/PV installations – Required
  • Knowledge of PV systems, install details, and site survey equipment
  • General construction
  • Electrical wiring of AC and DC systems – Basic
  • Building materials
  • Written and verbal communication skills – Required
  • Diploma / G.E.D.
  • Clean D.M.V. / Clean Background / Clean Drug Screen
