Pulaski Energy Park Rises in Tennessee

Tennessee will be home to the "Pulaski Energy Park," which will have a solar plant and and a solar training campus.

Germany-based Phoenix Solar and Silicon Ranch Corp announced they are jointly developing, financing and building the Park along with a series of solar PV plans in Tennessee and the Southeast.

A 1.4 megawatt (MW) solar PV plant, under construction, will be the anchor at Pulaski Energy Park, the largest privately owned solar installation in the state. The solar campus will have administration, classroom and service buildings. It will be built on 25 acres.

"Developing a solar facility in Pulaski will bring tremendous economic, environmental and social advantages to the region. Our intent is to provide low-cost solar energy with a focus on creating green jobs and increasing capital investments in clean energy here in our state," says Matthew Kisber, Silicon Ranch CEO.
