Position Overview

We're seeking a Brand Marketing Associate to coordinate, execute and manage online and email promotional programs for supply-side advertising clients, for the purposes of educating and engaging natural health retailers with dynamic and exciting brand events.

The Brand Marketing Associate, a non-exempt full-time role, works in the Advertising Dept. and reports to the Brand Marketing Manager. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinates the collection of client product and promotional information for the purposes of preparing, loading and monitoring such content across suite of retail B2B operational platforms.
  • Works closely with the Brand Marketing Manager and Product Data Coordinator to assure accurate set up and display of all content associated with clients’ promotions and products.
  • Designs and creates ad content using Adobe Creative Suite to client specifications.
  • Writes, edits, proofs and loads promotional content including product descriptions, landing page content, and email content and other copy of all types.
  • Writes introductory level HTML code to assure accurate and appropriate display of the content online across various products including BUYiQ, MyGeniusCentral.com, WebGenius and GeniusCentral’s internal email system.
  • Works with advertising team members and clients to prepare promotional messages that meet clients’ requirements at the direction of the Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Works across departments to assure that required content, coding, loading and reporting tasks are completed in a timely manner per the defined production and reporting schedule.
  • Works with staff members in the Data and IT departments to assure data and content for clients is accurate in all areas of the platform.
  • Works with Marketing Department to load, QA, and distribute company promotions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must be experienced with web-based content applications, all Microsoft Office applications, and comfortable with technical collaboration and communication.
  • Excellent promotional, editorial and business writing skills. Copywriting experience in advertising, print or online media is required.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and HTML editing tools or possess an aptitude for learning graphic and HTML coding software packages.
  • Excellent communication skills as direct client dialogue is required.
  • Experience in health-related and/or natural product industries a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed and able to work in a team environment.

Education and/or Experience:

  • College education or 4 years comparable work experience required, preferably in public relations, marketing communications, internet marketing; or
  • Similar media and marketing degrees or positions.
