Position Overview

We are looking for candidates with a passion for renewable energy. Trismart is the perfect place to learn and grow with the solar industry. It is essential that you understand the need for flexibility. No two days will ever be the same, you will be working at different locations everyday, and you may be asked to perform job tasks for other roles within the project life cycle.

Previous experience is not required. However, this is a very physically demanding and fast paced job. Proven capabilities of being able to safely withstand summer roof surface temperatures everyday, comfortable working at heights on uneven surfaces with heavy objects, work with power tools, adherence to strict site safety protocols, and professional customer facing demeanor is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Meet on job site at agreed upon arrival time
  • Interpret blueprints, structural, and electrical information for the assembly of Solar arrays
  • Ensure safety of yourself, other team members, and the customer at all times
  • Transport, assemble, and install solar equipment on the job site with high attention to job quality and safety
  • Remove debris and discarded material from job site

Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation is an absolute must
  • Experience of working outdoors in a physically demanding role
  • Significant experience in the use of power tools (impact drivers, drills, hammers and various saws, grinders, etc.)
  • Experience with drywall, mortar, and siding is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods
  • Ability to understand and use instructions and blueprints
  • Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork mindset
  • The ability to lift and carry 50 or more pounds regularly in extreme temperatures on high sloped and uneven surfaces
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation

  • Training Pay for first 90 days of training
  • Full time compensation commensurate with experience and performance review after training period
  • Full time compensation is competitive with solar market
